Eli Perrins-Davies Impresses at WSL GADIS Junior Pro Ferrol

Fresh off his historic win at the 2025 Welsh National Championships, Wales’ current Men’s Open Champion, Eli Perrins-Davies, took his momentum onto the international stage with a strong showing at the GADIS Junior Pro Ferrol — a WSL Pro Junior event held at Praia da Fragata, Ferrol, Galicia, Spain.

Facing some of Europe’s best up-and-coming surfers, Eli showed poise and progression, advancing through two rounds before bowing out in the Round of 32 — a solid performance at one of the key stops on the WSL Junior Series calendar.


Round of 64 – Heat 8
Eli opened his campaign with a confident win, dropping a 10.17 heat total (6.67 + 3.50) and advancing alongside fellow standout Lucas Deffenti:

1st – Eli Perrins-Davies (WAL): 10.17 (6.67 + 3.50)
2nd – Lucas Deffenti (BRA): 8.43
3rd – Marco Marin (ESP): 7.77
4th – Kenzo Lamoureux (FRA): 7.30

Round of 48 – Heat 8
In another close battle, Eli kept his rhythm and composure, winning his second consecutive heat:

1st – Eli Perrins-Davies (WAL): 9.60 (5.17 + 4.43)
2nd – Oinatz Ortega (ESP): 8.63
3rd – Alejo Valido (CNY): 8.03
4th – Saion Borelli Luzarreta (ESP): 8.30

Round of 32 – Heat 8
In a stacked and high-scoring round, Eli was narrowly edged out in fourth:

Alejandro Sancho (ESP): 11.67
Fernando Ibarra (ESP): 10.06
Paco Alonzo (ESP): 8.00
Eli Perrins-Davies (WAL): 7.06
