Q&A: Team Wales Surfer for EuroSurf Juniors 2026, Max Davies
Welsh groms are getting ready for EuroSurf Juniors which takes place in Bundoran from September 24 – October 4.
After showing up consistently to club, inter-club and national contests, long hours training, and surfing everything the Atlantic throws at us, these young shredders have the honour of representing their country against Europe’s best.
But who are they and what gets them frothing? We take a closer look with our exclusive EuroSurf Juniors Team Wales profiles!

Favourite wave in Wales: High tide Caswell because it's super fun.
Favourite wave abroad: Lower Trestles because it's warm and has really good waves.
Favourite surfer: Gabriel Medina is the GOAT.
Best competition achievement: Winning both U16s and U18s at the Welsh Nationals 2026.
Surfing goals over the next 12 months: To win a big competition.
Best thing about surfing in Wales: I find I'm so used to the waves in Wales, it makes it ten times more fun!
