Q&A: Team Wales Surfer for EuroSurf Juniors 2026, Coby-Jon Williams
Welsh groms are getting ready for EuroSurf Juniors which takes place in Bundoran from September 24 – October 4.
After showing up consistently to club, inter-club and national contests, long hours training, and surfing everything the Atlantic throws at us, these young shredders have the honour of representing their country against Europe’s best.
But who are they and what gets them frothing? We take a closer look with our exclusive EuroSurf Juniors Team Wales profiles!
Here's the Welsh Coast wave destroyer, Coby-Jon Williams.

Home break: Rest Bay.
Club: Welsh Coast Surf Club.
Stance: Goofy.
How many years surfing? I have been surfing for 12 years.
Who’s sponsoring you? Mystic Boarding and Watersports World UK.

Favourite wave in Wales: The good old Rest Bay!
Favourite wave abroad: Love surfing around Hossegor in the summer. The best spot is Le Penon!
Favourite surfer: Griffin Colapinto.
Best competition achievement: Becoming Welsh champion at U14s level in 2023, then placing second in the U18s in 2025.
Surfing goals over the next 12 months: To win another Welsh title and make good progress in the coming Euros throughout the competition.
Best thing about surfing in Wales: On the hunt to find the best waves in the cold depths of winter. I love to surf when the waves are bad as it provides a good challenge.
